Hi everyone, I’m currently deciding between two laptops and need some advice. I’m considering the ASUS G14 with the following specifications and a MacBook with the M3 chip and 8GB RAM. I would like to ask a question about running the P8 off a power pack. It's supposed to run off 15 volt / 2 amp, but all the power banks that do 15 volts output 3 amp. From the reading that I have done, because it has Power Delivery, this doesn't matter and as long as the power bank delivers 15 volts and 2 amps or more then the laptop will charge the battery just fine. Is that correct or will the laptop get damaged by a power bank outputting 15 vots / 3 amps?

I recently bought a Ruger LCP 2 in 22LR. I put 200 rounds of 45 grain American Eagle through it and it performed perfectly. Thats the only type of 22LR that I know of to where it fired without an issue. With CCI mini mags it'll have at least one misfeed out of 50 rounds. With CCI Stingers it'll have a misfeed in every magazine. With Aguila it'll jam every time I pull the slide back. In fact it wont accept Aguila at all. American Eagle is the only type of 22LR that I know of that it'll fire flawlessly. But then this isnt true with other Ruger LCP2s in 22LR according to the reviews Ive seen. But it's true with the one I have.

Thanks for the video. Can both USB-C ports be used for charging in the T14 G5? Maybe that could extend the overall laptop's lifetime (in case one of them breaks).

Picked one for CAD229. Superb product. It is loaded for the price. I was worried about the display since it is a budget offering. Pleasantly surprised to see a very decent/reasonable display and impressive touch sensitivity. Super compact and super sturdy. The USB-C socket is capable of charging, data transfer and display port compatible. It has everything I need in a budget laptop. I would have loved to see backlit keyboard. That is my only complaint. I would have gladly paid a little more to have a backlit keyboard version. Solid Purchase.

What are your thoughts on T14 Gen 5 AMD compared to T14s Gen 4 AMD? Considering one of the two this fourth of July or Black friday. Honestly I got a 5th generation X1 Carbon I bought in 2017 from Lenovo website with no problems so no rush to upgrade. Even considering waiting atleast until Windows 12 launch, Windows 10 end of life, and further Snapdragon maturity.

2012 MacBook Pro is very solid machine but the most annoying problem it has is when it starts beeping and it won’t turn on. Most of them have this problem so be prepared for that.

Picked mine up, but despite having it linked to my cell phone (haven't connected it to landline, as I want to use it for kids as well), it won't make outgoing calls. There's online silence. However, when someone calls the cell that the vtech is hooked up to, the vtech will ring, but when I answer, there's only silence. Any ideas?

Hi there. Thanks for the video. I know this is an older video but it confirmed what I was trying to do. I cloned the 64gig eMMC to a 256 gig Patriot M. 2. I both devices in the OS boot order but selecting the Patriot M. 2 and pressing F10, never saves the SSD as the primary boot device. Any thoughts on this. You are the only video that I have found regarding HP Notebooks and the BIOS. Thanks

Been using MyPal for quite a few months now, maybe a year. The latest version #68.14.2.8918 is faster and has some additional features over v32, but works on MANY more websites. Has some limitations, but the biggest one is something to do with RAM. If on UA-cam, for example, and bounce around to a number of new pages or expand comments out, it will bog down and stop loading correctly. The more extensions running (they are the latest available for FireFox, so MASSIVE bonus there!), the quicker it bogs down. In fact, I run 3 extensions and what happens is that most often when it bogs down, it just crashes. Acknowledge "crashed splash window", then the re-open tab button on middle of window and returns to last webpage prior to crash. . I have scripted AutoHotKey to acknowledge the crash, relaunch the tab and the entire crash takes about 4 or 5 seconds. This is a bummer, to be sure, but.... the last versions of FireFox and Chrome that STILL worked on my PC, were at minimum of 6+ years out of any updates, so a HUGE amount of websites would simply not work at all. This latest version of MyPal works on every website I have found, but some things like chat windows and such have bugs / glitches sometimes. UA-cam works fantastic, but the bogging / crashing is an inconvenience. . This version is a nice upgrade to the earlier v68.12.0.8721, that would seriously bog down and force me to exit browser and then re-locate the page I was on. It is still less than perfect, but FAR, FAR better than the last functioning Firefox v52.9.0.6746 AND the last functioning Chrome v49.0.2623.112 m (YES.. they were the last functioning versions and ONLY ones, prior to MyPal v32 which is probably the one used in this video. . I am hoping more updates happen and particularly to address the crashing, but mostly the chat and bugs / glitchs I find on The "Green" site mostly

I found already with the older N3000 series cpus that the 4 core versions were just so much better than the 2 core ones. 2 core maybe for pfsense or something low on the network, personally would not use them as a desktop system. Personally I don't mind emmc memory for booting if it keeps the machine cheap, but the option of a nvme SSD is worth paying for if you need that speed. My main suspicion of laptops with these chips is that they limit their power or running speed to preserve power, so it's worth checking out what they run on, in some cases you can increase the power max in the BIOS.

i have a flickering issues that it behave like a hardware problem,soo..sometimes the monitor will start flickering and suddenly blank. then i need to (sometimes) open close the monitor,some light knock on the back or a bit pinching on the side will do make it work. mostly i need to force turning it off with power button since i'll be in a dota match so i cant see anything to turned it off in a good way,then i will unplug the power and turned it on again. do you think that is because the heat too?

Thanks for the help. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get the back off until I watched your video. Turned the notebook with a 32gb EMMC into a full on laptop with 250gb SSD and 12gb of ram. Used AOMEI Partition Assistant to port the Windows 10 OS over to the SSD. Unplugged the EMMC and it booted from the SSD.

I technically have a cousin of this laptop, there are a lot of Aliexpress laptops that run the same hardware (same motherboard and styling) but with more RAM, bigger screen resolution, and actual 2.5 inch SSD vs eMMC for the same price new. But was trying to get info on the touchscreen for this one as I'd like to replace an old android tablet with a used one of these. The nice thing about these laptops is that they charge with 12V 2A. For those who are willing to do a little soldering, you can get a barrel jack (or snip the barrel jack end off the charger it comes with) and a 12V USB-C decoy then create a USB-C to barrel jack adapter - just make sure your USB-C charger can support 12V. If you're feeling adventurous, you could also just cut into the laptop and wire the USB-C decoy directly into the motherboard. These laptops also have really bad heat issues as the copper heatsink is not good and the case has 0 ventilation. I wound up using a rotary tool to cut out a little vent for the heat to passively escape right under the CPU spot. It helped tremendously with throttling at the expense of the heat being concentrated on that opening now, not a big deal for me as I don't set this on my lap but for those who do its probably not good. Overall, its not bad but I'd definitely try to get these used and at the lowest price you can find them. I use mine for IT and dev work instead of lugging around my gaming laptop.
